Just a month after I bought my swimmer’s headset for $35, GunnerAirsoft started selling them at $18 each! Anyone have any info if these items are exactly the same?

Around $100 for a tactical headset is too much, especially when it’s going to be used with a $15 Talkabout. After months drooling over various headsets and making do with a regular earbud headset, I finally found one that’s reasonably priced at only $35.

Blackhawk Down is the best war movie ever made. After watching the movie for the eighteenth time we absolutely wanted a loadout based from it, and who better to emulate than the cool Delta Force operators.

Modelling for us today is my teammate and fellow BHD fan, Dante. Here’s how we completed our loadout and how much we spent on each item. As always, we wanted gear that was good and authentic, yet cheap enough that won’t get us broke.

Viperkit’s 3-Day Assault Pack is a great example that not everything has to be in 1000D Cordura. It’s only made in 600D and yet it’s tough enough for both airsoft and everyday use. I got this brand new for P1,600 or about US$35, which is less than half of a 1000D version. The pack comes in black and OD, if a tan version comes out I’ll gladly buy another one.
